Making College Accessible

Guiding Local Students To Postsecondary Opportunities

The High School-based Services team provides a College Access and Success Advisor to work on campus with students at 36 high schools across 7 local school districts. SAEP Advisors work closely with campus administrators, staff, and auxiliary partners to develop and coordinate effective programming and activities promoting higher education opportunities for high school students.

SAEP advisors also connect seniors to the renewable SAEP Scholarship funded by the City of San Antonio. Each year, $2.1 million is awarded in scholarships to over 3,000 local college students.

When I made the decision to pursue a college education in my junior year in high school, I never imagined that the costs and expenses would be so overwhelming. The San Antonio Education Partnership Scholarship helped me to overcome some of the financial obstacles, and it truly became a motivating factor while earning my degree.

The Partnership is a 'Golden Opportunity' for the youth who are deciding to continue their education. The scholarship made my dreams a reality, despite the lack of financial resources my family had. The Partnership has made a significant impact on the lives of many individuals, and I hope it continues to exist in order to offer future students similar rewarding benefits."
