SCHOLAR SUCCESS

The Scholar Success Program (SSP) aims to create success for SAEP Scholarship recipients by providing community, mentorship, and support throughout scholar’s post-secondary pursuits. By partnering with our 12 partner institutions, we offer scholar-specific outreach efforts and connect scholars with campus and career resources, including emergency aid funding. Scholars also have the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program in collaboration with USAA.

Note: Emergency Aid funds are only for scholars in SAEP’s Scholar Success and Dedicated Advising programs. Individuals not enrolled in these programs are not eligible for SAEP Emergency Aid funds.

SAEP-USAA Mentorship Program

The mentorship program provides scholar participants with professional development and career exploration opportunities. With guidance from their USAA mentor, scholars participate in a 5-month program where they receive:

Applications for the 2023-2024 Mentorship Program are closed. Applications for the 2024-2025 mentorship program should open Fall 2024 and is only open to scholars receiving the SAEP scholarship during that time. Please reach out to aaustin@saedpartnership.org with any questions.
